Keeping Business Regulations Reasonable
As a small business owner, Linda Rogers understands the negative effects that heavy government regulations can have on job creation. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and while some regulation is necessary to protect Hoosier workers, our environment and consumers, too much regulation can harm our overall economic health.
Linda is committed to building on the progress made during the past two decades at the Indiana Statehouse which has led to media outlets such as Forbes and CNBC to place the Hoosier state near the top of their lists of best places to do business. Hoosier businesses have it better than those in some of our neighboring states, no doubt. However, there is still room for improvement. We must put an end to redundant reporting requirements, unfair licensing laws and other burdensome regulations.
